TEFA is a Texas state program that provides eligible families with an education savings account they can use for approved educational expenses — including career and technical education programs like ours.

How it works: The program is administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and operated through Odyssey, which handles applications and accounts. Approved families receive funds they can direct toward qualifying educational expenses.

Who qualifies: Students must be U.S. citizens or lawfully present, eligible to attend a Texas public or charter school, and residing in Texas.

Award amounts (2026-27): $10,474 for private school students, up to $30,000 for students with an IEP on file, and $2,000 annually for homeschool students. Unused funds carry forward as long as the student remains in the program.

Already have a TEFA account? Log in to your TEFA parent portal inside the private Odyssey Marketplace and search for The Living Word Pharmacy Technician School under the assigned service category Trade School Classes. Once you log on to the Odyssey Parent Portal and select The Living Word Pharmacy Technician School, you must complete the official opt-in and enrollment verification steps so the state can link your award to The Living Word Pharmacy School and disburse funds.
